Shuswap Family Practice No Show Policy
Please help us ensure timely access for all our patients! If you no longer require your appointment, please be sure to cancel it at least 24 hours in advance so we can offer it to someone else who is waiting.
Our office has implemented automatic reminders to help ensure that you don’t forget your booked appointment. Ask our staff about this option.
Missed appointments (not rescheduled or cancelled with at least 24 hours notice) will result in the following steps:
First missed appointment: You will receive a letter to make you aware of our No Show Policy.
Second missed appointment: You will receive another reminder letter and you will be charged a $25 No Show fee.
Third (or more) missed appointment: You will receive another $25 fee and your physician will be made aware of the repeated No Show’s. In the event of repeated No Show’s despite the above, you may be asked to find another physician.
Missed appointments that had been previously confirmed at the time of the text or email reminder will result in a letter and an immediate $25 fee.
