COVID-19 Information for patients.

Covid-19 continues to evolve as do the public health requirements.

Capacity:

We have reduced the capacity of our waiting room to ensure that appropriate distancing can be maintained.

Booking:

We ask that all patients call ahead to book appointments. Please be sure to notify the staff if you have any respiratory symptoms such as a cough, congestion, sore throat or a fever.  Please also notify the staff if you have any vomiting or diarrhea.  Staff may request that you do a home rapid COVID test prior to an in-person appointment.

Virtual Visits:

We offer appointments by phone or video conferencing in addition to in-person visits.  The video conferencing does not require any software to be installed or set up on a computer, tablet or smart phone.  It uses standard web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox or Safari to connect.  It does require a high speed internet connection – cable, ADSL or fibre-optic.  It may be appropriate for some physician visits.  If you have access to a computer, tablet or smart phone and a reliable internet connection, talk to our staff about booking a video conference visit.

Check-in Procedures:

Hand sanitizer and masks are available at the entrance.  Please take a mask AFTER using the hand sanitizer.

Enhanced Cleaning and Disinfection Protocols:

We have implemented enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols in our reception and administration areas, wait rooms, exam rooms and washrooms.
